| PT-135 SODIUM WIRE PRESS For extruding sodium and other alkali metals. This is made of heavy iron casting and mild steel. The press fits on a bench by a single half inch bolt with two legs over hanging the edge of a bench to prevent rotation of the press. The plunger is machined integral with the operating screw and OK. The receiver bottle can be placed on a table which is fixed to the press and is adjustable in height. The machine is supplied with one stainless steel die for extruding sodium into wire of 1 mm. dia.
