Description
The PT-89 is an oil-free diaphragm vacuum pump cum air compressor made by Popular Traders, Ambala. It is portable and lightweight, and it needs no oil changes, so there is no oil mist or contamination in the lab. Use it for vacuum filtration, degassing, rotary evaporation and as a source of compressed air.

Which model should I choose?
For filtration and desiccators the 15 L/min models are enough. For a rotary evaporator choose a 27″ Hg model such as PT-89/10 or PT-89/20, or the PTFE PT-89/30 when you work with corrosive solvents. Choose the piston-type PT-89/35 when you need the deepest vacuum (29.5″ Hg).

Every unit carries a 1-year warranty covering mechanical and electrical working. Most models are ready stock and are dispatched in about 2–3 days. Within India our engineers install the unit at your laboratory and train your staff; spare glassware is supplied whenever you need it.
